Function Hydrolase that metabolizes extracellular nucleotides, including ATP, GTP, UTP and CTP. Metabolizes extracellular ATP in the lumen of the small intestine, and thereby prevents ATP-induced apoptosis of intestinal plasmacytoid dendritic cells. Has also alkaline phosphodiesterase activity.
